Frequent natural disasters, climate extremes, and increased demand for energy have led to the increasing need in harnessing the power of science and technology as a boost to promote global environmental governance and sustainable development. Major global economies and international institutions have begun to take action to transform the “green economy” by combining the environmental protection agenda with post-epidemic economic recovery. This session aims to discuss new materials, recycling technologies, environmental technologies, and other green economy innovations.
